Reliability and durability

CFM-powered cargo operations benefit from the industry-leading reliability and durability that the engines provide, along with high performance retention, resulting in lower fuel-related operating costs, longer time on wing and lower maintenance costs. There are more than 1,000 available CFM56 repair processes with commonality across CFM56-5B and -7B engines, which increases the availability of used serviceable material.
