CFM has a long history of continuous investment to deliver ever-greater value. This is how we developed the LEAP engine and will continue to develop technologies – both to incorporate into the LEAP engine throughout its lifecycle, as well as a foundation for the next generation of engines.
With recent improvements like the a reverse bleed system and a more durable high-pressure turbine, we have line of sight to lower maintenance burden and significantly improve time on wing – on par with the industry standards set by our CFM56 engines.
